Is this an ERP or a CRM?
Either, both, or neither — you build the modules that match your business. Most teams start by building the three or four things they were already tracking in spreadsheets, and grow from there. ERP and CRM are just patterns you can stack on top.
How is this different from Airtable or Notion?
Airtable is a flexible database; Notion is a flexible doc. Splendor OS is an opinionated operating system on top of a database — with governance, audit trails, AI-assisted data flow, and reporting designed for business operations. You give up some flexibility and get a system that stays coherent as it grows.
Can I migrate off if I outgrow it?
Yes. Every module exports to CSV, JSON, or SQL dump on demand. The Business tier can be self-hosted if you need to own the database. We don't do vendor lock-in.
What does the AI import actually do?
Reads arbitrary CSV/Excel/PDF input, proposes field mappings, resolves likely duplicates against existing records, and previews the result before committing. You approve or edit the mapping — it never writes to your database without your sign-off.
